Castles, cathedrals, and crypts
A friend of mine from the US was visiting Edinburgh for the weekend, and yesterday we visited St. John and St. Giles Cathedrals, St. Cuthbert's Burying Ground, and Edinburgh Castle. Here are some photos from our day:

Right after I took this it began raining buckets, and we had to hide under a flying buttress to avoid being drenched to the bone.

i wish you were going to be there longer than just this month...the blog is so interesting to read, and i want you to be able to see/visit/meet/speak with all of the creative and historical places/people there! i suppose anything you miss you'll just have to add to your list of "things to do next time" and look forward to it.
